Requirements:
5-10
Years Structural Design Experience
Bachelor's
/ Master's / Ph.D. in Structural Engineering
Experience in designing major
structures with emphasis on concrete, steel, and pre-stressed
concrete design
Capable
of reading and understand other disciplines' drawings and
formulate structural plans on that basis
Professional Engineering (PE)
License Required
Strong
Communication Skills
Responsibilities:
Take
a lead role in helping to realize our projected growth
in the LA market
Focus
on building design, seismic upgrade and structural renovation
of all types of building structures
Develop
building structural systems, both gravity and lateral
Help
to build and maintain positive relationships with new
and established clients
Plan
and estimate work and manpower requirements; control budget
Review
contracts under the supervision of Principals and Associates
in the firm
Manage
major and minor design projects from beginning to end
Supervise
work of other engineers and CAD technicians
